Relationship Specialist

Seeking a candidate with excellent communication skills coupled with proper and professional phone etiquette. Ideal candidate possesses a great sense of initiative, desire to learn and ability to multi-task across multiple computer systems. Trade Desk/Customer Support

Securities Service Network, a Broker Dealer, is seeking an entry level professional to join our team in the Trading Department. This position requires the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, exercise professional judgment, and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills. Candidate should be detail oriented, exhibit strong communication skills, and be able to develop a solid understanding of financial markets. Trader will work in a team setting to provide customer service and support to SSN’s 400+ advisors. Candidate must have obtained or be willing to take and pass the Series 7 and 63/66 FINRA Exams within the first 12 months of employment. Prefer bachelor’s degree and trading experience or knowledge of trading operations is a plus.

Responsibilities Include:
-Assist clients and advisors via phone & e-mail with trading strategies, placing trades, and rebalancing model portfolios.
-Execute trades via multiple platforms (Wealthscape, NetX360, Folio Dynamix, Envestnet) for stocks, bonds, options, mutual funds, alternative investments, and advisory portfolios.
-Field questions from and educate home office employees, clients, and advisors regarding Compliance / Trading policies and procedures.
-Identify and manage risks while reviewing and releasing live trades to the market.
-Research, resolve and respond to advanced advisor/client inquiries. This requires the demonstrated ability to make time sensitive decisions.
-Maintain orderly records of all advisor/client inquiries generated during the normal course of business.
-Quickly and accurately make decisions within the scope of their duties and level of empowerment and recognize when escalations are necessary to mitigate risk and/or service issues.
-Collaborate with other departments for problem resolution (Operations, Compliance, Marketing, etc.)
-Focus on accuracy with trade quality control
-Overall professional demeanor and embodiment of corporate core values

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
-Must develop a thorough understanding of the financial services industry and stay current with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to trading activities.
-Must have a sense of urgency, ability to multi task, excellent organizational skills, and strong prioritization skills.
-Displays the confidence, skill and professionalism to resolve critical issues in a manner that strengthens the client relationship and mitigates risk for the firm.
-Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
-Ability to work in autonomous environment while meeting service demands.
-Ability to use good judgment in line with SSN’s policies and procedures when managing relationships.
-Advanced computer skills with ability to utilize multiple applications at one time (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Minimum Qualifications –

Advisory Services Customer Service Support / Fee Billing

Securities Service Network, a Broker Dealer, is seeking an entry level professional to join our Fee Billing team in the Advisory Services / Trading Department. This position requires the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, exercise professional judgment, and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills. Candidate should be detail oriented, exhibit strong communication skills, and be able to develop a solid understanding of business processes and procedures. The right candidate will have the opportunity to get their securities licenses and provide crossover support for the Trade desk and Advisory Services overlay team.

Responsibilities Include:
-Assist clients and advisors via phone & e-mail with billing inquiries and setup. Processing paperwork in a timely and detailed manner. Work with departments within the firm to execute billing period payments. This requires the demonstrated ability to make time sensitive decisions. -Maintain orderly records of all advisor/client inquiries generated during the normal course of business. -Quickly and accurately make decisions within the scope of their duties and level of empowerment and recognize when escalations are necessary to mitigate risk and/or service issues. -Collaborate with other departments for problem resolution (Operations, Compliance, Marketing, etc.) -Focus on accuracy with setup between the multiple billing processes and programs -Overall professional demeanor and embodiment of corporate core values
